Well I am going to give you the low down on our life. Jo and me met in November of 03 and have since been dating. Everything changed when I decided to go back to school.. a week before I was to start Jo recived a phone call from a job he applied for months back. Fort McMurray was a calling and looking for him to join the Suncor family. They hired him and thus began our whirlwind of 9 months. A week before he left Jo decided that it was time to fill the
empty void in the cockles of his heart and thus LoLa Brigada was welcomed into our family. She is our Doodle and the cutest dog in the world. So roughly a week later our families got together and celebrated me going back to school and Jo getting his new job. Tha night was a nightmare. We couldn't get a restaurant that would take like 12 people and the wait was 45min to 1 hour. So my dad suggested Zambellis in Leduc and that's where we ended up. Dinner was great and I ate alot. Everyone told me to save room for dessert and and I was too full from dinner. Anyways to make a long story short we received napkins for dessert and Jo offered one to me and I refused thus him literally throwing the napkins in my direction while taking off the napkin revealing the little box.
Next thing I knew he was on his knee asking for my hand in marriage and sweating a young child away. My mom is crying and I start crying and accept. Short and sweet kinda. After that it was nine months of bus tickets, lonely nights, and studying.
In August of 2006 we purchased (with the help of Suncor) our first home. We painted and cleaned up a bit because it was digusting!!! We moved up everything in September and went on a shopping spree purchasing a new living room couch and loveseat and a new bedroom suite just so we seemed a little more grown up. I moved up to Fort McMurray at the beginning of November and recently got a job at a physio clinic in Thickwood.
That's it and that's all right now. I finished most of my Christmas baking and finished all of my Christmas shopping and now I think I will hit the sack. I have a lot to do tomorrow and Jo is going on his night rotation. So have a Merry Christmas and all the Best in 2007!!
Toodles
Fifi xoxo
